Sunday Worship Message: November 9, 2025

This Sunday, while Pastor Pye is on study leave, we are delighted to welcome Jillian McWhinnie to bring us the message.

Jillian is a part-time student at Knox College, enrolled in the Masters of Theological Studies (MTS) program. She has always had a keen interest in theology and a love for studying God’s Word. Outside of her studies, she works as a pediatric occupational therapist in Hamilton, Ontario.

Jillian’s message for Sunday will be “Hannah’s Prayer” (based on 1 Samuel 2:1-10 NIV). We look forward to receiving this word with her.

 Upcoming Holiday Events

As the holiday season approaches, we have two wonderful events to share:

1. Church Decorating Day

• Date: Saturday, November 29, 2025
• Time: 10:00 AM
• Details: Join us as we decorate the church sanctuary, fireside room, and café area for Christmas! Many hands make light work, and your help is welcome as we prepare the church for the season.

2. An Evening of Carols

• Date: Friday, December 5, 2025
• Time: 7:30 PM
• Details: St. Andrew’s is hosting this beloved event again this year! Mark your calendar and plan to join us for an evening of carol singing and Christmas music provided by five choirs and St. Andrew’s praise team.
  • Giving Back: Please bring a non-perishable food item for the Mississauga Food Bank.
