May we pause for 5 minutes and think about life, God and the Bible.I share this on Thursday, June 11, 2020. At creation, God creates order out of the chaos. The Spirit is hovering over the waters (Genesis 1:1-3). Jesus comes to be baptised by John the Baptist in the River Jordan.  “And a voice came from heaven: ‘You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased.’” (Mark 1:11 NIV) The Holy Spirit descends upon Jesus like a dove (Mark 1:10). Why is God well-pleased with Jesus? Why does the Holy Spirit descend upon Jesus like a dove?
