Here below is the Youtube link for the Five Minute Window for today, June 25, 2020.
May we take 5 minutes to think about life, God and the Bible. I share this on Thursday June 25, 2020. Friends bring a paralysed man to Jesus. They hope that Jesus can heal him. They make a hole on the ceiling and lower the man in a mat in front of Jesus as the house is full of people. Jesus does not heal this man immediately. Instead, he says, “Son, your sins are forgiven” (Mark 2:5). The religious leaders in the crowd say that Jesus is committing blasphemy because Jesus claims to forgive this man of his sins. Only God can forgive sins (Mark 2:6-7). Is Jesus committing blasphemy? Can Jesus forgive sins? If Jesus can forgive sins, what does this say about his identity?
