Wednesday, May 20 2020; Confession (Psalm 51 v 10-12)

May the Holy Spirit overwhelm us with God’s forgiveness.

May we pause for 5 minutes. Let us think about life, God and the Bible. I share this on Wednesday May 20, 2020. King David commits adultery with Bathsheba and is involved in a conspiracy which kills her husband, Uriah. The prophet Nathan confronts David. David confesses his sin before God by composing Psalm 51. He asks God to create in him, David, a pure heart and not to take his Holy Spirit from him. May we learn from David and not be afraid to confess our sins before God. May the Holy Spirit renew our hearts.
